Jesus fucking Christ. She didn't even say goodbye...

Does that angel even have a plan?

Well she kind of said it to me. Loudly. In a yelly way.

I think that's the problem. She does.

Alessa, I don't know what to do. That isn't Kali.

I'm so sorry that happened. I wish there were something I could do, but I just had no idea. Which seems to be where everybody is with this...

Holy fuck! And she wasn't planning on telling us this? Is something going on? Is there something we should be worried about? I mean, besides the fact that Kali has just taken off on her own? We all know what those people are capable of... and Dad even said, Dragonetti's overconfidence will be his own undoing. What's going on that we don't know about?

I don't think she thought it was anyone else's business. I think we should be worried, she's in Rome! She's gonna get...whatever they do there... Wasn't Thomas in Rome once? I know Kay was.

She's been going to shooting ranges and practicing and using my exercise equipment. She's not just little Kali anymore but...augh. Why should that woman get to use my wife this way!?

Thomas was in Rome, yes, and Kay. It's not good. The Templar may have lost their grip here, but Rome is their home turf. They even caused trouble for Spectre there. If Kali can put a stop to something, more power to her. I wish she'd let us in on it, though. After everything we've been through, surely she knows we can help. If it's Lenore shutting us out... that's something that seriously worries me. Isolationist behaviour isn't going to help anything. Lenore doesn't have the right to cut her off. There has to be fairness, and this isn't it.

Oh my goodness.

I know what it is to have warring personalities inside, to have memories and urges and quests not your own. This can't be easy for Kali. She wouldn't leave you, and the babies, and her friends without a very strong reason. I understand that doesn't make it any easier for anyone. Remember though, she's probably even stronger than an average person, now. Certainly in terms of endurance. Still, I'm sure Ryn would be willing to follow and look out for her, if you want that.

As for who Kali is... she's still there. Nothing that she was has been taken away. Another life has been added to her body, and that's something everyone needs to learn to live with. But she chose Kali for a reason. They must have things in common. With time, perhaps you will find things about the angel you can appreciate, too.

I know Kali wouldn't, but how much of her is really her anymore. Is there anything in there of my wife anymore? She's not the same, David. She's just not the same. Stronger, yeah. More determined, yeah, which frankly she had no trouble with before. It's not just that I am worried about her, though I am.

I miss my wife. Even when she was here I missed her. I don't...I don't know if I can learn to live with it, David. I just don't. I married Kali, not Lenore. I really dislike Leonore.

Kali is there. I don't think Lenore would cause Kali to fade away. If she became an angelic spirit, it's highly unlikely that she would intentionally do something harmful. She may not realise how much pain she's causing. Or perhaps she thinks it's worth it, in order to execute whatever plan she has to fight the Templar.

I can see this is about more than her going to fight the Templar, though. When someone changes like that, it does mean rebuilding relationships. Accommodating those changes, and that's not easy. All I can say is that the woman you married is still there, she just has access to different knowledge and perspectives. It's natural for that to change someone, but I believe the woman you love is still well and truly there. I know how difficult it is, though, and I'll be there for both of you in every way I can. I can only imagine how much harder it must be when you don't even like Lenore. It's a horrible situation to find oneself in.

Well I don't think it's bloody worth it.

I don't know if I can do this, David. I don't know if I can be with someone I... I just don't know.
