"The best relationship advice I can give anyone is that if you feel strongly that you need it, you need to check yourself very, very hard. If it isn't working, bite the bullet and split, I've wasted over a year of my life from not doing that and I wish it on no one. Most people know what to do but are too scared to do it and I find that I can relate to that just a little bit too well.
The last piece of advice that I give anyone is resolve to be alone in your life. Truly resolve to be alone that is. Because when you do that, you shore up who YOU are and then, when love does come along, and it will sooner rather than later, you and your partner will be two people with everything to contribute and nothing to lose. Nothing to lose because you are a whole person who can stand alone, not someone's little sheep."
