Ohhh, I know I write my fair share of non innocent fics but I really LOVE this idea - I really do love the innocense a lot of the time too... and I've written some innocent fics as well. ^^ (actually my first Zaylor video was barely even cestual...)

Yeaahh... I know it feels a bit like... now that they grew up, and the writers I assume are also older, and it's ok to write sex there is a lot of it.

I mean I enjoy the smut. But sometimes it's nice to just blissfully escape into something more innocent. Especially if it's when they are really young!

So yes it's going to be nice to have a place that I can escape away and hide from smut. If it works out which I hope it does. :)

I don't even think it's just that they/we are older. I mean, when I got into Zaylor, Zac was 22 and Tay was 24, so they weren't teenagers or anything, and I was 24, too, so I wasn't "young". And there were fics around back then that had sex/smut in them, but it didn't seem there were as many.

I have nothing against sex scenes in fics, I enjoy them from time to time, I just feel kind of overwhelmed by them lately. lol I just have this very strong desire to go back to reading and writing stories that have very small amounts of sex in them.

But sometimes it's nice to just blissfully escape into something more innocent. Especially if it's when they are really young! I agree. I really find Baby Zaylor difficult to get into, personally. I think Sammy's is the only one that I've ever been able to deal with, because it has so much heart (because SHE has such a big heart). But most of the time if they're too young and getting too physical, I just feel like too much of a creeper reading it. I think 13 is the youngest I've ever been able to

Maybe this will inspire a bit of writing on my part... it's because of the sex that I stay completely away from writing any Zaylor fics.

:) I hope it does inspire you to write! :) What is it about the sex that has kept you away from writing? Because you don't want to write it or feel you can't, or something else?

I just never felt capable of writing it to be honest. I feel incredibly awkward trying to describe anything sex-related. I can write about a kiss here and there, but anything more just feels very weird when I try and write about it.

I hear ya! I still get like that. I never used to be able to write sex scenes, and I still feel really awkward doing it. I read over stuff I've written and just cringe and think it's awful. I still can't use "smut" words. lmao I just really hate writing sex scenes most of the time. If it feels like it's important to the story somehow, I'll try, but it usually doesn't feel all that vital anymore. I used to care whether or not people wanted me to write sex into my stories, but now I don't. I'll be sad if I lose readers because I write less sex, but... *shrugs*

I don't think you should write anything you're uncomfortable with. It is good to push yourself a little sometimes and try new things, but if you're happy to write stories without smut, I know at least a few people who will be happy to read them. ;)
