I feel an odd sense of Britney support tonight. While cleaning the E! THS Fall From Grace came on tv and I had to change my clothes into my In the Zone tour t-shirt. I miss the girl she used to be. That's how I was until I caught this special randomly. This whole paparazzi craziness that's been going on (dating one? he's married? etc. etc.?) seems like one big scream for help. She's never really been told "NO" in any scenario and when people started she either fired them or told them to leave her alone (see her mom). The paps have been the only ones giving her positive attention so that's how she feels comfortable.

Oh geeze, and now I'm rambling. I obviously don't approve of it all, but I can see where she's coming from.

I so agree. People really need to get off her case. Can't they tell that she's very troubled? She has problems and she needs help. It's not something to make fun of. I know plenty of people who've been committed to a psych ward, I've come -thisclose- to being committed myself, and it's no laughing matter. Like you said, it's not easy growing up in the spotlight. Not all child stars get the support they need, or have the strength of character to withstand everything that gets thrown at them, and it's hardly their fault. "That stupid Britney bitch, she should have been born stronger and tougher." Right. 'Cause it works that way.

Yeah I feel pretty strongly on the matter. XD *steps off soapbox*

Everyone seems to think that's she completely in control of what's going on. I've dealt with mental illness and I've watched it happen. She's not really all there and it pains me to see her just fall so fast.

I know what you mean. Do people think she's having fun with all this, honestly? I can only imagine how unhappy she must be. Poor girl.
