Ansem was an old fool, he thinks. When he was young and answered to a different name all he wanted was to follow in his footsteps. His heart, he suspects, was to blame.
He is far better off without it.
It is clear to him now that light is not the absolute force he once thought it was. The black claws that ripped open his chest and tore out his heart opened his eyes to that.
Darkness is supreme, and Xemnas knows Kingdom Hearts holds the key to unleashing it. He simply needs to place the pawns.
He can’t fail.
