Ok, ok. So I didn't post Saturday or Sunday, but I promise I'll make up for it today. Saturday was tres hectic. We had planned on leaving by 9:30am, but didn't actually exit the city until about 10:30am. Had to pick up the mother-in-law, had to get gas, had to get coffee. I actually don't mind my job. It's not that hard, I love the people I work with, my manager rocks (she gave me freezies last night randomly) and I get paid well. I don't think I can really complain about a job that gives me benefits and I'm only part-time ( Read more... )

The cookie exchange party went well. I made Potato Cheddar chowder to take along with a cheese/fruit tray. Both were a smash hit, so that just redeems my confidence after the stove/mixer fiasco. At least I have SOME cooking talent ( Read more... )

So I broke my mixer today. Well, really it wasn't my fault - the thing is worth probably $20 and most of it is made from PLASTIC. I mean, what the f?
