"How do you divorce under Asgardian law?" Natalie asked interestedly.
"Declare the marriage dissolved before witnesses," Loki said. "Of course, in such circumstances, if the unwilling party is not at fault, they are entitled to dowry and bride price, as well as half the estate."
"Dowry?" Tony said. "Did something change hands in the process?"
"I put Mjolnir on the table before the Justice as we signed the papers," Thor said hollowly. Loki beamed.
Oh Loki, you arranged that somehow, didn't you? I know it.

He's either getting Thor's hammer or Thor's "hammer" out of this. It's a win/win situation! (He totally planned ALL OF IT, because Loki is not clueless enough to ever be tricked into marrying by accident, he's the god of tricks, he tricks other people, like f.ex. Thor (even if he's a bit of an easy mark, but the hammer is a bonus, or is that the "hammer"?). (Also, why else would he have scouted out the bedrooms?)

I think the Avengers are going to need a blanket "Thor: DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING" policy.
