On Gamble stepping down.

I am torn about this decision:

I think fandom is way to hard on Gamble (for sexist reasons, very often) and that she gets blamed for a lot of stuff that isn't her fault. I never thought she was that great of a writer and the ending of 7x17 is just another example. Let's see: Sam's wall is kaput, no chance of rebuilding. So Castiel Takes Sam's Memories into himself. wtf? That seems infinitely more difficult than say, building a new wall. And if they're not Sam's memories (as they've been referred to all season) then what the hell are they? Cause Lucifer is now talking to Cas instead of Sam. Yeah, the lack of sense here is infinite. I can not stand bad writing and this is a shining example.

I don't know how you ended up on this entry since neither of us has friended the other, but it's a bit random (and a little rude) to jump in and start bashing an episode I specifically say I enjoy without any preamble.

I should also point out that there's no way Gamble unilaterally made the decision about the end of the episode, since it's obviously going to impact the entire character arc, and other writers' episodes. Group decision, and a decision I personally find really interesting.
