I did faire this weekend - and last but I forgot to update last weekend - and it was awesome.
Heat wave seriously put a damper (pardon the irony) in my day and made me highly annoyed that I almost dropped TWICE on Saturday because I am blonde and ... *shrugs sheepishly* forgot that drinking water actually wards off this evil passing-outyness.
Drove up with James, Scott, and Mini this weekend. Much fun to be had - as was the passing outness. That was awesome, too.
After we got Mini, James took me to my school to do my Abnormal Psych final. I finished it within 30 minutes or so and got an okay grade. Mini helped me cram on the way there. Picked up Scott and started on our way to LA area.
Stopped at the Apricot Tree Restaurant and got a Little Mermaid statue. It's adorable and it made me go "WEE!"
Made it to Fraizer Mtn. (James's mom's house) at 11 or so and the gorram woman wouldn't go to bed! She KNEW we were all tired and that we had to get up really early and yet REFUSED to go to bed even though I blatantly put the pillow on my head to hide from the noise and BLARING tv.
Finally she disappeared and the next thing I knew, I was waking up by my alarm at 6:15 - evil thing decided to work...
Faire happened and had a lot of fun. Enjoyed the day, met some new people and saw a lot of familiar faces. Always fun.
Saturday we, James, myself, and Scott landed at my Aunt's house (about 15 minute walk from faire, 5 minute drive) and enjoyed sleeping in quite late. FUN! The only annoying thing in this house was that there were bugs EVERYWHERE! Roaches and ants everywhere. SO not fun to have them crawling on you in the middle of the night.
Sunday was also a lot of fun, mainly I remember enjoying the spitting water at my friends because 1) cooled us down, 2) it was fun, 3) we intentionally aimed at each others breasts or crotch areas, and 4) all of the above.
Left for faire to stay at James' mom's cabin - OMG she has a private cabin!!! Comfy area that was NOT bug infested! Did enjoy this sleep. Arrived home around 5 ish.
Dood, I cannot wait to go to Pirate Faire in Petaluma!!
