Slidell

I'm really upset right now. Hurricane Katrina passed directly over Slidell, Louisiana, which is where I grew up and where my parents now live. There is absolutly NO coverage of Slidell. All of the coverage is of New Orleans, which did not get hit nearly as bad. They lived right on the water and I'm trying to prepare myself for the fact that

Hurricane Andrew didn't demolish our old home in Florida, but the garden in the circle drive (which contained huge boulders and trees) was missing as was the 7 ft tall wooden fence that surrounded the yard.
I hope everyone is okay.
