Maybe he didn't think it through before proposing. Maybe he thought he was losing you & that was the only way he could think of making you stay?

I don't know. I would be worried too I think, if he didn't seem interested at all. It's just as much his wedding as it is yours - it's something that you should be planning together... Perhaps if he doesn't seem interested then the time isn't right? There's really no hurry, if you love each other & you enjoy each others' company then that's all that really matters.

To totally contradict everything I've just said... I'm getting shitty cos I haven't been asked yet & we've already pretty much planned the wedding! But I can't have the ring yet! (yeah we already have it - he's just teasing me with it!)
