Oh, that's frustrating. Good luck with the deciding.

it's definitely hard. it took me a long time to really love our place, due to the royal screwing we received with the offer process. Took a long time to not be angry and to not second guess everything. If it's above your walk away price, a price that you came up with before the emotion of the offer process, I'd (coming from my own personal experience) probably think about walking away. I think that there will be other places for you. I think the important thing is not to let emotion rule your decision, because that can cause a serious case of buyer's remorse. I think pulling the garage space is bad, too.

That's just my 2 cents. I think you and Lucy can be happy lots of places. If you walk away, that doesn't mean you "lose" or anything. If you walk away, they may well chase you. (but don't count on that).

Oof, I am too talky meat. Good luck with your decision, I'm sure it will be fine either way, in the grand scheme of things.

It's tough. 3K is not an enormous amount of money, in the grand scheme of things. I guess you have to ask yourself how much you really want this particular condo.

good luck.

I think Nora has the right of it. The price isn't right and they've misrepresented the parking. I think, too, it depends on just how bad you want to own. Is it a must have right now or a nice to have when the right one is found? Satisfying-decision~ma to you.

I think the garage spot is non-negotiable. If you buy this place and sign your name on 50 billion lines, you're committing yourself to a VERY long term contract. That's a lot of winter mornings of scraping snow and ice off of your car if you don't get the garage spot.

My own .02 is that owning a home ain't all it's cracked up to be and if the deal isn't the best it can be, walking might be for the best. Unless you're not in a position to stay where you're at. Like Nora said, don't let the emotion sway you.

Good luck, Brenda!

Yup, that's what I decided. I've made an offer that includes the garage, she's not happy with it, were at an impasse, and either she'll back down or not. I'm okay either way.

Freakin' craxy Polish lady.
