I have an idea for something that involves what -- on film -- would be called a "Match Cut" sequence. I'm sure that you've seen the sort of sequence I'm talking about; there are two very similar scenes with either identical or nearly identical dialog that are spliced together to make one big scene. I've never written the type of scene you mean specifically, but when I've needed to switch POV quicky, I usually just separate them with a:

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I've seen it done before in fic format, but for the life of me cannot remember where. It CAN be done. Just, maybe not easily?
