YAY FOR ME!

I've been run-walking (Ralking, I call it) for the last couple of months now.   Sometimes I just walk, but for the last five or six weeks I've been using the streetpoles to regulate my running pattern.   I started by running 2 poles length and then walking 2.   Then dropped the walking back to one.   And eventually gradually increased the running ( Read more... )

It's pretty cool mate, as I didn't expect it to be so soon, or that I'd try it this morning...I just decided when I got up.

Are you well? Happy?

It's been ages since I've seen you anywhere. Are you still making CD mixes? I miss doing that, but there is only so much time in each day.

Have you been having a look at my pics I took while up in the north? Some are a bit artistic, but most are holiday snapshots, but they still show a good deal of what we saw.

Look after you, and send me an email with a bit more personal news if you'd rather not post it here, ok. I miss you...

I'm well, Brendan. Happy, even. Quiet, or quieter, maybe. Life has a lot of activity just now.

I'm still working with the mix group, but I'm thinking of giving it up. It might be time to let someone else take care of those people.

I haven't been to your flickr in a while but it's sure nice to see your face on my LJ friends page lately. I miss you, too :)

Awesome. Very inspiring. Especially when you can say "surprisingly it wasn't that tough". It's always nice to see some progress.

I might go ralking later.

the ralking is the way to start, beautiful lady. Because it doesn't feel like your working too hard, but you get a good sweat up. Technically, it is interval training, because you keep raising and lowering your heart rate, and most people agree that it is efficient to lose weight, but it is also a good conditioner for more.

little steps first, then the big ones...

Let me know how you go.
