We got back yesterday from our whirlwind trip up north.  It was hectic but worth it to see everybody.  We had a great time and the weather cooperated.  We got home yesterday and we are just trying to recuperate ( Read more... )

Well, we are officially residents of the great state of Arizona.  We went to the license branch today and got our new drivers licenses and plates and we registered to vote.  As usual, though, it came with lots of adventure.

We got our new tree put up and decorated.  See my icon.  The house is looking rather festive.  I am really getting into the spirit now. 

All is going well here.  I was having a difficult time getting into the Christmas spirit.  Its just a little strange running around in sunny 70 degree weather with palm trees and cacti all over, wearing shorts and t-shirts, hearing Christmas music.  I just couldn't get into the mood.

We got back yesterday from spending Thanksgiving in southern California.  It was nice to be with friends but we were busy.  We helped prepare a meal for twenty five people.  Lots of work but the food was great.  We had a good time but we were glad to get home ( Read more... )
