Our kitchenette at work, which is situated just opposite our office, has been out of order for the past six months or so owing to problems with the plumbing related to the adjacent men's toilets. Last week, our company football/soccer team played a game against another company in Heidelberg. It was a small-field match, but with rather large goals (as seen in the picture below). I bought a tent a few weeks ago, and last weekend I got to try it out. I headed down to Freiburg on the edge of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) on Friday arvo after work. I set up my tent in the camping grounds, on the edge of town, and then headed in at dusk to check out the town. I fell in love with it immediately. The town has a really nice feel ( Read more... )
