Fortunately for those surrounding my (family, clients, moggies) I am slightly less cranky this morning. Mind, I haven't started on the pension fund marathon yet...

I also - finally - managed to get into my own website this morning. (Pause to mumble about Geocities, wanting to re-do the whole site, firewall and page-builder disliking each other, ( Read more... )

New story is cute cute cute cute cute!!!! I'm all giggly now ;-)

Silly person ::hugs::!

Glad you got into your website -- sympathies on Geocities (utterly sucky, from all I've heard).

It's good to know you're getting a bit of downtime now & then. You deserve it (as well as needing a lot more of it)!

Good luck with the pension funds ... Be careful not to fall asleep in your coffee ;-)

Thank you thank you. Still waiting to by lynched by those who love AUs and do not have a sense of humour... *g*

Geocities sucks big time. Oh yeah. One day I'll get around to putting the site somewhere else. And re-doing it. But yeah, downtime is a wondrous thing, although I am now sadly behind with pension fund monotony. Mind, I might hit the section on 'premature withdrawals' today, which never fails to bring a smile, shallow person that I am *g*.

I mean, can you IMAGINE 5,000 words of this...?

"A reduction in the capacity to work of less than 40% is not considered to be a disability, and thus constitutes no entitlement to disability benefits from the pension fund. Furthermore, a disability is not considered as such by these Rules when the member receives at least 80% of his full annual salary or a corresponding substitute income (e.g. daily accidence or illness indemnity) of which at least half was co-financed by the company."

ZZzzzzzzz

Story is indeed cute, even though I'm not really a Bodie/Doyle fan. And I like AUs. Sometimes. When they're good. *g*

Thanks :)

I have trouble with AUs - and a lot of Pros AUs do tend towards the... er... fairly weird in terms of costume, setting etc. I suppose I prefer the less blatantly 'alternative', as in things set more or less around the canonical period and with the lads doing more or less law enforcement sort of things.

Bodie/Doyle-as-rabbits (however beautiful the story was), ethereal elves and Victorian gents just don't float my boat.
