Had this idea that wouldn't go away. So... some thoughts on - um - progressing with writing.

Hi - I followed a recc to this posting and very glad I am too, I thought it was very well said. Many other interesting posts too! I also had a quick wander, and discovered via your website that you have written some of my favourite Pros slashfic (Matters in Hand and Towels) - I hope its not those that you sometimes feel embarrassed about! Would you mind at all if I added you to my flist? No obligation to do so back, but I'd like to read more of your thoughts...

And um... yeah. I do get embarrassed about those stories. Wish I didn't, but... I do.

Well said. Quite right.

I stopped head-patting - indeed, even reading - about 4 months ago, about the same time my own muse abandoned me :) because I stopped being able to forgive.

I've probably seen too much (RL writing and fanfic) to be able to forgive people who should know better. And that's just it - those who SHOULD KNOW BETTER than to churn out sub-standard stuff. Where's their self-respect? Their respect for readers?

Ooops, ranting again. And may you find your muse very soon. Mine's around but has been gagged as have too much (RL) prose to whip into shape.
