I have recently discovered menstruation art. I find it to be fascinating… Women all over the globe are harvesting their blood, refrigerating them, keeping them in little jars, pouring them into chrystal goblets, and painting magnificent pictures. i just wanted to voice that at first i was a little disturbed at what i saw here, but afterwards i felt soo ... comforted looking at the painting. it's so beautiful! i'm almost envious of you & your bravery to not only celebrate your blood & womanhood, but to openly celebrate it and take all the criticism with stride. it's so impressive to me, and makes you my hero! ♥ (: it definately must give you something to look forward to each month! also, do you keep these forever? or do you have to throw them out?

I think it is so great that you can be so open about a womans bodily functions and it brings me closer to my mother and sister.

Maybe I can work up the courage to ask them for their menstrual blood so I can also make such powerful pictures.
