i just got back from a pretty awesome bike ride. i haven't been able to ride a bike since i lived at sherwood due to lack of owning one or knowing anyone that would let me ride theirs. tonight, jon was gracious enough to let me ride his bike. i cut through a lot of neighborhoods that i live around that ive never been through. it was so peaceful and ( Read more... )

Crescent Hill is such a great 'hood. Especially for cycling.

Glad to hear you got out on two wheels and enjoyed it. Funny you mentioned it, too, since we saw Jon (and his bike) outside Ramsi's last evening.

If you ever decide you want to start wearing spandex and riding REALLY fast, let me know...

is this such a bad thing? i remember in 4th grade i wore spandex biker shorts under my umbros and i was pretty fucking cool then. SO WHY NOT NOW? i mean, i know this is a subtle ploy for joe to get me close to naked. haawwwwt.

I know what you're talking about with the whole "people are growing up" thing. It's crossed my mind, too. I mean, I know I've grown up and gone through a lot since I moved (almost 3 years ago... that's crazy). Sometimes I wonder where all that spontaneous energy disappeared to... but at least you're still surrounded by a handful of the same people. Some people move through groups of friends and in three years are hanging out with completely different people.

And yeah, dude, that grudge you've got against me... give it up, bro.

When I get my new bike, we'll go ride.

that grudge thing...yeah. it's ridiculous to hold a grudge for a long time. even over shit that seems to be a big deal. in the long run, unless somebody killed a member of your family or did something really fucked up, i think making amends will make you a happier person in the long run. reaching out to lost friends and former enemies only serves to make your life bigger and full of people when it's all said and done ( ... )

Brent, grudges do fade with time. It's hard to live life fully with grudges.

We used to hang out alot back in the day. We definately had good times. I'll admit, haha, I had a few screws loose when I was younger.

Oh, the old days.
