Painting My Ass Off

Have been painting my ass off.  Finished painting the base color on the first level.

Came up with a plan to paint the parts I can only reach by getting on the roof.  My neighbor use to be a roofer.  He said they use to tie a rope to themselves from the other side of the house.  I want to try this.

Is this just plain stupid or should I try it
