Origins 2009
Origins is coming up again, June 24-28. I signed up to judge some of the DnD stuff for the RPGA, which is a pretty good deal: judge four events to get a free pass to Origins for the weekend, seven to get a free room at a local hotel (or, if you don't need a room, a $60 gift certificate to the Origins dealer's room / food stalls in the convention ( Read more... ) -
This Has Officially Gone Too Far
We are now rolling characters for O D&D. We're using the Swords and Wizardry core rules. I am a Dwarven Warrior, we also have two human wizards and one fighting man. -

The New Best DnD Aid
The Random Dungeon Generator. For something with "Random" in the title, it sure gives you as many options for setting things up as you could ever want. -
Even A Monkey Can Understand Miyazaki
Takekuma Kentaro, one of the creators of the woefully under read Even a Monkey Can Draw Manga (which anyone who's read a manga or two would find hilarious) gave a lecture at Kyoto Seika University titled "Why is the Manga Version of Nausicaa So Hard to Read?"
