it's taken me longer to finish up the kite runner than i originally expected. mainly because the child protagonist graduated from being a bastard to a full-fledged fucker. i scoffed at his sorrows, though now he's slightly redeeming himself. in related and equally exciting news, rumor has it a film version is scheduled for release next year. mr

Young man, you have some 'splaining to do. Miss Allen tells me that you're waivering on your plans to come up here tomorrow. I have composed a list of reasons why you should come.

a.) you have free time--why not come up? What else would you do? Watch CNN? We have cable here among the trees, you know.
b.) I cleaned. Seriously. Don't tell me my cleaning was in vain.
c.) There's talks of camping. I'm going. I've never camped before. That should make the six-plus hour drive worth it just for this episode.
d.) A carpe diem attitude is good. When else in your life are you going to get to be spontaneous and just do what you want? You have nothing tying you down. Carpe diem!
