Brett. You must disown this part of the family that does not believe in turkey. Are they allergic to triptophan? Or are they afraid of the avian flu? Either way, tell them that they are ridiculous. Or is it "ridicoolus" in your father's case? I kid, I kid. Perhaps that was a bit harsh...

Anyway, I'm glad the Thanksgiving festivus could happen dispite locked cars. No Thanksgiving, though, will live up to the Egeler-Harger-Yoder- Grandchamp celebration of 2003. No holiday is complete without Trivial Pursuit.

And, Monique, if you're going to mock someone you have to be accurate; it's "ridicalus." The 'u' is replaced by an 'a' sound. I'll have to get you two together and see if I can't coax it out of him.

Listen to Miss Allen. She is wise. Plus you need a change--what could be better than going from the turkey-hating, dull ways of your father to the turkey-loving, chaotic ways of the Wifeys?

PS: Move in with us and I'll buy you the 3rd Harry Potter. And let you use my discount. ;)
