Because you're my friends, I offer my support. What follows is Brett's very own Holiday Gift-Giving Guide (notice the PC-ness)! Contain your excitement. But really, all of these items are Grade A, and anyone would be thrilled to open them up on Christmas morning (or the morning of the holiday you happen to be celebrating) . . . if not, they're ( Read more... )

Oh oh oh - I have relevant information regarding the Sims! Apparently now that the new one is out, they're dumping the old one into a special deal package. You get the original game, plus ALL the expansion packs for like 40$. Unbelievable. I know Sam's has is, and I know I saw it in ads for Best Buy and Walmart, probably Target too. I have them all already, so I don't know why I keep telling everyone about it.

That is unbelievable. I'll have to make an addition to my list for Santa.

Yes, my mother still addresses our gifts as "From: Santa." Now, that's unbelievable.

Rope fucking rules. I am really glad you like it that much. And thank you for the props.

Is the new Fiona that good? I was hesistant with all of the hype surrounding the delays, unreleased versions, etc. Do you think I would like it? I like her previous album very much.

Anyway, I hope everything is going good for you. I also hope that you aren't creeped out by my LJ lurking. But voyeurism is what I do best, and I make no bones about it, damn it.

Lurk all you like. I'll try to make things interesting around here.

And the new Fiona is really good. I like When the Pawn, too, and I would say this is better.

Thanks so much for getting Julie Andrews stuck in my head. (I'm grumbling, but I still miss you, Brett)

By the way, I'll go back to being a Troll as of next Sunday. I'll need visitors in G.R. and I'll also be going to D-town for the end of my Spring Break after a job fair in Ypsilanti. SO! You should come out on the town with me and a few of my friends. :) Because it would be fun and I miss hanging out with you!

(And I'm posting this icon just for you)

Well, thank you for the icon.

Speaking of job fairs, the one at Central (I don't know when it is, but there should be info on the CMU website) is the largest in this area. It's not too far from G.R., plus you can take as many days off as you want from student teaching for job-related stuff. I would recommend the Central fair, especially if you want to move to another state after graduation. Even if you don't. Go go go!

And do keep me posted next semester. I may have to spring a visit to the G.R. I do have other friends in the area I haven't visited yet, but this will give me extra insentive.

Do you still live in SJ? Do you even exist? I think you must, or else someone is clever in acting like you on your LJ. Call me sometime. I live once again Lansing after complications with Pa. We can go see a movie and I'll tell you all the horrific details, you know you love hearing about me...don't deny it! Plus I haven't talked Southerny in ages.

I still reside in SJ. And I'll have to check in soon, because there's nothing better than DeWitt family drama.
