I hate stative verbs

So long story short, a friend and I are going to have a Mills and Boon battle. She reckons she can write trashy Mills and Boon better than I can. I defied such an assertion and so the battle's on

the first feels more like something i'd do. So, i guess i write like a man? :)

I'd either wager that folk gender psychology is wrong, or that I wrote the first one better because I'm more used to it (maybe if I was equally skilled in the stative form it'd be a fair comparison).

Then again, you're all mathsy so maybe you have a man brain.

Of course, I'm joking :)
