I met up with John yesterday afternoon. I didn't check the days or anything, but I'm pretty sure I've gotten one year of his mentorship. We've got the rhythm down now. I gave him a bit of Chapter 10, because I was struggling with writing Chapter 6. My writing is still a little askew: I need to use the Objective Correlative instead of sledge-
