[Alucard is also drifting through the library. Every now and then, he pulls a dusty tome from the shelf and leafs through it. He passes near Canute... at the moment, he himself is puzzling through a book on technology.]

[And Canute looks up. He doesn't say anything at first, merely looking. Alucard doesn't look like a person of Canute's time, but he doesn't look like a person of 1943 either if going off Denmark says anything. Of course Canute can't tell where that leaves Alucard to fall on the timeline, but it's interesting.]
