Well, if anybody deserves to be saluted and called Sir (instead of the catch-ier "doctor in the mid-thigh length lab coat", I'll be the first.
I'm very sorry for your news (and as usual I'm trying to add some levity so I'll at least get a smile out of you). Don't give up ... and certainly don't "settle". Still my hero ....

I forgot to add that if you do go the uniformed route, look into the Air Force first - they treat their people better.
