Ok: "a united Africa" never has and never will exist. The countries that supposedly exist in Africa are there because Europeans haphazardly drew some lines on a map: "We hereby proclaim you.... um... Nigeria!" And so on. Because of these borders that attempted to unify drastically different tribes and groups of people, these countries are, to put it all so academically and eloquently, completely totally fucked. Instilling this economic need for global trade has destroyed peoples single handedly and started century-long wars. Let me not mention the diamond trade, for example. Thanks to our "ecomonic support" of Africa for coffee and diamonds and so on, countries are in constant inter-intra warfare

Humble my ass. Don't play coey!

The list of devastating social issues is a long list. I believe I even said that within the essay. You, for example, mentioned just a couple, ie. Berlin Conference, etc... I assumed this much was understood and that is why I went further to say there is a dire need for an economic reform policy, one that is uniquely African and helps bind the continent together.

I believe the AEU can do this. Just give me a little while to prove how.
