W&I seems to be one long string of Marwood moments, but I shall try:
1) the soliloquy in the greasy spoon ('cos seriously, if anyone's going to play Hamlet on the brink of madness it's Marwood).
2) the shaving-in-the-bathtub scene. "Speed is a dozen transatlantic flights without ever getting off the plane..."
3) Marwood's first view of the countryside outside Crow Crag.
4) THE BULL.
5) "I shall miss you, Withnail."
Bush (I'm going to cheat and say "mixed media" because it's been a while since I've seen the A&E adaptations, and I know the books better, but they still have some wonderful moments.)
1) Telly: The arrival on the Renown in "Mutiny". Yes, including *that* bit.
2) Bookverse: The fight scene on the Renown in "Lieutenant Hornblower" is better than the TV version imo.
3) Bookverse: The long ride to Paris in "Flying Colours", and specifically the handholding that takes place therein.
4) Telly: Generally: "FIYAH!"
5) Bookverse: that reunion of delight on the Nonsuch's quarterdeck in "The Commodore".

I know, way for me to make it hard, right? The "Speed" soliloquy is quite probably my favorite out of the whole movie. The tone of voice, the setting, the music. Mmmm.
And, oh goodness, I really really need to reread the books. Particularly Flying Colours.
Meep! Clearly I should use it more often. I was mainly deploying it to send up the US general elections last November (along with any concurrent DW shipwars), but yes, it's definitely a pairing that needs more love. Wonder if Big Finish could come up with an adventure for the two of them together?

The unexpected naked!PMG and his Freudian saveloy. Ahem. Yes, it is a good example of PMG's "storyteller's voice", and it's a nicely-paced scene.
And yes, the books are definitely worth the rereading.

There needs to be more Fitz-and-Benny interaction out there. Seriously.
