Its a big convention for CG and VFX... it was in New Orleans (I had fun there this time), and I think I found some very promising job leads.  So promising, that it looks like I will be moving to NYC or Connecticut shortly... well February.  

You know something has gone a bit weird when you say to yourself: "There is no way I can sleep until Wednesday at 9 pm".... and it is Monday at noon.

Ugh after looking over that woman's resume, stances, and then listening to her speak I decided to start donating to Obama.  I wasn't huge on the guy before, but jesus could McCain have picked a bigger fuck up?

Isis in in surgery right now (well about an hour from now) and I am mildly terrified.

Update:  She is fine, the infection was worse they than had thought so it was really good that we opted to send her immediately.  Isy will be coming home tonight around five....my poor girl.
