(no subject)
well, i get to go home this weekend. i wasn't planning on it until last night when my stupidity got the best of me. yeah..
(btw, this post is a lil long, not bad though)
so james had a very bad day yesterday, one of those days where he has no control over anything and it just doesn't go the way he wants it to. so he called me up to vent and started getting somewhat upset with me because i wasn't being too sympathetic enough or something. i don't know. we got it all worked out though so don't worry. so from when i got off work until i met my work out buddy at 6, i was talking to him trying to rationalize but it wasn't working. so had my workout, thought about the whole situation and found it out to be a lil funny. of course i forgave him cause i knew his reasonings but decided to play it out a lil bit to have him come back and say im sorry and try to make it up the best he can over the phone. so he called back later on that night like what he said, we were talking again, and i was eating my dinner...which was...chicken noodle soup.
james called right shortly after i had eaten. i figured i would try to eat while holding the phone with my shoulder. so far so good. then i reached for the tv clicker and my shoulder moved just enough that my phone went into my soup. yeah, i should've seen this one coming. in fact, i had a feeling that maybe i shuoldn't be doing this. so anyway, i started to freak out cause the phone died, dug out the phone card number that i got my freshman year, called my mom-no answer, called my sis-told her, she laughed and told me how i can get a new one. called her back casue i forgot she had james' number (cause i dont have it memorized), called james back and made him laugh. he tried about 6 times and figured something happened with the soup and the phone. yup, smart man.
so yeah, i get to go home this weekend for a new phone. since i don't want to extend the contract for 2 more years (since james and i want to get our own plan after we are married), i am going to fork over the 150 bucks or so for a new phone. NO FLIP PHONE, YAY!! i hate flip phones, i can go on and on about flip phones but not right now.
