well, your computer illiterate friend (me) found out how to change colors and layouts on a journal last night. so yeah, i redid the colors. i don't like the layouts livejournal has much and have no idea how to add in a picture of my own or to make layouts more customized. oh well, i can only do so much change before my mind gets boggled by all

The best layouts are found if you have a paid account, but there are some sites out there that can help you out with free account layouts to. In fact, the layout that you have is actually the most easily customizeable layout. XD If I were in E'burg, I could show you a bunch of things you could do.

http://ljlayouts.org/ <-- probably the best place to go. They have tutorials and tons of layouts for free users. XD

http://community.livejournal.com/freelayouts/ <-- click on "Layout List" and browse the layouts. They have layouts meant for free users. When they list the layouts on the page, they'll tell you whether you need a website or not... what they mean is you may need a place to "host" the images needed for the layout. A place like photobucket.com would work for that. XD
