One thing that I have noticed lately, mainly in Washington since that is where my news comes from, is the rise of high school crime. Whether it be vandalism or a fight. It seems like many of the high schools around central Washington have had bomb threats, threatening notes, students bringing guns to school...WTF is up with that?! What happened ( Read more... )

I thought the reaction time was good, emails and txt messages are the best way to connect now. The problem was (to me) keeping classes in session without telling students if the gunman was on the loose or not and not really searching for him. I am sure they did though, just not sure of the level of search.

And yeah, obviously a gunman is a bully, I was trying to get at the kid a couple grades ahead trying to take your lunch money.
