I really wish my bathroom was in my living room. Stinky as this may sound, at least I wouldn't have to leave the warmth of my couch for the devastating cold of the bathroom. I also wish my heater could heat the entire apartment, rather than just the living room. It is literally 20 degrees colder in my bedroom than it is in my living room. Every ( Read more... )

That's the beauty of living in a one-room apartment, my living room is my bedroom and that's where the AC/heater is. My kitchen and bath area gets pretty cold but I bought an electric heater that I just leave on all the time. Still, the bath itself is really cold when I first step in in the morning.
How cold are your schools? My elementary school is brand new and has central heat (!) but the JHS is heated by oil heaters in each room. That means that the hallways and bathrooms are absolutely freezing. I can usually see my breath in the bathroom and the one Western toilet does not have a heated seat.
