Alright my friends, need some feedback

Craziness this past week or so, a lot going on here and everyone is on edge. Yesterday, was a very long day. I decided in my temporary surge of motivation to go for a long run...about 4 miles. Hmmm, that is very tricky. It seems that this commander has your best interest in mind. I think that since the Army is the only thing you know, maybe it would be a good idea to see what else is out there. It makes sense that you would come back if you really want to do it. Plus it's not all that reassuring that he (as a lifetime Army guy) is telling you that most people don't know why they're there anymore.

I guess what I would advise is to think about it, find out what Allison thinks (because she's just as involved as you are) and together decide what you want to do. You have the skills to make it anywhere, and if you wanted to be involved in national defense, there are plenty of civilian jobs that are 1. better and 2. safer than being in the forces.

Just my advice... :) good luck figuring it out!!! I'll support you either way!

yea man, if you're not all about it- don't do it. Figure out what you want and go get it- you're young as hell- you'll figure it out- no sweat.
