Parker is a strong, sensitive guy and his reaction to Brian's shock was handled very well. His relationship with Brog is between two people...not three. It will serve Brian well to keep this in mind if he wants to keep peace with Brog. I realize he is just looking out for his friend but sometimes you have to let go and let nature take its course.
Waving good-bye to Sherm is hard to do. I love his insight. His advice and encouragement have been priceless. If anyone had to come and lead him to a better place, I'm so glad it was Hero. Being rescued by this compassionate fireman sent the warm fuzzies right to my heart. I wonder how long he has been floating around Parker. I hope he his happy for his friend and lover.
I've been MIA for a little while. RL kind of took a chunk out of my normal activities but I am better now and must get to reading all the entries I have missed.
A wonderful entry even if it was kind of sad to have to say Good-bye and Good Luck to Sherm.
The obvious part is Sherm is being helped to move on, but I also think it bodes well for Parker & Brog. As if Parker is also finally letting go of the ghost of Hero. So in essence, Hero is finally moving on as well.
Also we see Parker very clearly drawing the lines for Brian, which I think earns a lot of respect in Brian's eye. Parker won't be pushed around or intimidated by him as far as Brog is concerned.
