Bob my be a whack job, but he's our whack job. I'm glad they are back in one piece. So far, so good. For some reason, I thought Domino was already dead. Hummmm, ponders....AWBR....
Ya know, Robert can be soooo horrid. If it werent for the way he loves and takes care of Teri.... And I dont want Kim gone, but Domino does want to kill Teri.... Dilemma squared!!!
I agree! I've always enjoyed the exchanges between he and Teri. The way he dotes on Teri and calls him Princess is, excuse me for this, cute. I think Teri is the only thing Bob really cares about besides himself. Sure he's all lusty for Brian, Justin, and even Cat, but dare I say he loves Teri.
Crazy Bob!! What can you say...the guy is a nut job to the nth degree. He scares me beyond any form of imaginative articulation. Like Teri, you never completely know what he is capable of. He keeps his past, as well as his present, heavily guarded.
Against all odds, I find myself drawn to his and Teri's 'relationship'. It's complex, nonsensical, unconventional...the list goes on. But damn if it isn't riveting!!!
Okay - the end gave me shivers. I have no idea who is likely to be the winner in this competition - the ultimate in control meets the ultimate in instability - creepy.
But absolutely fascinating.
As was Bob's reaction to Phillip.
The assessment of him based entirely on his relationship to Teri. That in itself is scary.
The added little glimpses of Bob's lurking obsession with Brian even more so.
But amidst the creepiness and the edginess two things - one I found touching, the other made me laugh.
I loved the sensitivity (and fancy using that word in connection with Bob!) of this observation:
He picks at it, nibbling a grain of rice, a sliver of fish. Just that much seems to fatigue him. Everything fatigues him.
When we are so in tune with another that even the small things about how they eat reveal their soul weariness, then there is indeed a bond there.
And this simply cracked me up:
Markham always looks like he's twirling on a tack when he's around me. He seems to think I'm a ticking time bomb aimed at his balls.

If it werent for the way Bob loves Teri, I would have wished him gone long ago.
