I don't think Greene is used to hearing no. He might infer Brian's rejection as a challenge with the "ends justifying the means" as his personal mantra. Plus I don't think Justin is out of the fire either, just a small reprieve.
P.S. Great multi-tasking with both P/CP and your LJ. Two very different stories with completely different emotions and writing style.
lol...love the title. Of course my mind twists it around and I start hearing Kermit the Frog singing.
Interesting getting a glimpse at the Kinney mind at work as he processes all the information he has RE:Greene for their upcoming meeting and all the ramifications of said meeting.
"Weird, I saw him on the street. In a car." But what was his behavior? Was he attempting to make a break for it from Em, Sophie and "the girls"? ..lol..
Also interesting the back and forth between the two on how they and the other would feel if they were to get it on with their particular admirer in the interests of business.
"Well then..." Topic closed - on to the important stuff ::waggles eyebrows::
What a hoot!!! Ted never crossed my mind as the person Justin saw in the car. Just about everyone else-but not Ted. I so want to begin this new venture of yours but things are still too crazy to start something new. Maybe in a week or so. Though I might have to ask you a question or two first. I'm not sure my heart will take some things well. Still out on Mr. Greene. But I do love the perceptions of both our boys. Justin first "...wants your ass..." and then Brian ..."but I have an instinct. And my instincts are seldom wrong..." Yikes!!! I have to say-though there was much to catch up on when I got home I did you and Cael and Brian before anyone else. You see who matters???

I loved the way Justin got his points across to Brian (both in word and in deed).
It is a little unsettling, however, that Brian's instincts antenna has been raised.
