I have an alternative journal for posting off-story, but I can't find it! Bwahaaaaaa! Sorry! So this is a stand alone for the holiday and then back to our regularly scheduled program. Hope you get a smile from it, and that you all have a day to remember, in a positive life affirming way. And Merry Christmas to Gale, wherever he may be, and to Randy ( Read more... )

This took me back to my childhood; I had a plastic light sabre and I used to wave it around and bop my brother over the head with it. LOL Gotta love the cynic, especially when he's sick. At least he never loses his sense of humour:

“Santa has no age.”
“Must make it hard to buy booze."

ha!

Thanks for the story; it's nice to see something new from you.

H.

Silly goose, we could have told you where the other journal was.

Love how in his minds eye even Santa is hot when he visits Brian. I'm glad he got his Darth Vader head carrying case.

Hope you, Brian & Todd get everything you wished for as well.

It's bookmarked on my big computer but not on my lap top. Hope you did too, sweets.

This gave me a good laugh this morning. You write sick Brian so well - he is a drama queen. Thank-you for brightening my day.

Randall so thrilled to see you posting! Hooker Santa! Randall you are a wicked man - lol. My favorite Christmas gift believe it or not was Operation when I was 9. Loved that game!

Thank you so much for taking time from your Holiday and Family to post this story. It is a classic. All the best to you, Brian, your Mom and Todd. Merry Christmas!

We got my 7 yr old niece Operation and she along with her cousins (ages 19, 17 and 13) were playing that game yesterday evening. I thought it was great that they loved that $10 game when they have all the high tech games including the Wii, guitar hero and everything else under the sun. Just watching them all together playing was heart warming for me. Sappy? yep but I loved it.

Well that was foreshadowing, wasn't it, Beth? Best to your little family too.
