I could really feel the emotion in this chapter - Brian's fear, Eric's rage and the sadness they both feel about the world in which they live. And then of course, the sexual tension. LOL Powereful!
It was scary enough when Brian was becoming more and more enthralled with Eric.
It's even scarier that Eric is falling under Brian's spell.
Just terrifying, in fact.
Although I have to admit that every time I hear Mary Coughlan's version of Moon Over Bourbon Street I can't help but think of Brian-as-vampire stalking Justin. It's all just so ... right.
"He's innocent and young, from a family of means"
and
"I have the hands of a sinner, and the face of a priest".
*sigh*
But really, I think Justin prefers his Brian hot-blooded. LOL
And Brian would be a truly scary vampire. His dark side let loose ... mmm ... not sure that would be a good thing at all.

Somehow I managed to miss the last chapter, so I got a special treat and read 2 today :) Always a good thing. I got mixed up with email hackers, too, hence the new name, since I was worried that I had been a pillock and used the same password on both things :(
Both brilliant chapters. No surprise there.
This one was very intense and yet so very wistful, too.
I loved the way Brian reacted to being called a sissy, and I was pleased that it provoked the reaction that it did in Eric.
I have to admit, the idea of 2 such beautiful men being around forever is awfully appealing :) They would be so pretty to look at, even if that was all I could do !
Great stuff, thanks !
Hugs, woodles and howls from the deep, dark woods,

I heard you had to change your name. Oh you could do more. Eric is certainly flexible and who knows if centuries would lead brian to try the other side! BWHAAAAA
It's so weird that for all Brian's bullshit about love/relationship this thing he has going with Eric seems to be heading in that direction with him even knowing. the way he calmed Eric down and how in his own way comforted him by doing the thing he hates to do the most small talk.

She's an Irish jazz-blues singer and simply fabulous - all that smoky-voice blues sound with an Irish accent - what a combination.
If you can't find her version let me know and I'll organise a copy for you.
It's from a very old live album she did back in the 90's.
