Aw, Eric sounded so sad and wistful.

I'm glad that Brian was prepared to help him.
I can't imagine Eric likes feeling so vulnerable.

It's so cute that Brian is trying to convince himself and everyone else that he isn't scared :)
And even more cute that Eric is letting him.

I'm glad that Justin showed up. That should make things even more interesting !

But Pam's anger is a bit scary !

Dear God, Justy may actually realize that he is in over his head this time but that won't stop him, he's off to the rescue. The line about him trying not to pee had me laughing. If he has to show up and ruin the Brian/Eric interlude, I guess he may as well make himself useful.
Excellent job showing the funk Eric seems to have sunk into.

This is such a development in this story. I am so intrigued by how many different layers of emotions Eric is showing and how it's interspersed with how the others are feeling with this whole situation. I worry for Justin though or will Eric see what Brian saw in Justin under the lamppost that night outside of Babylon. Yes Brian exudes confidence but he really is a hurt little boy who had rough youth which is why I think Eric is intrigued also by him while Justin more or less has a good life one that Eric himself was having and would have had if Russell hadn't murdered his family.

Pam Pam Pam what can I say love her so much missed her in the past few chapters but she is just as much hurt by what Eric is doing cause she loves him and also suffering from only child syndrome.
