painting the kitchen

Zach is coming to lay tile in my kitchen this weekend, so I'm trying to get it painted before he gets here.  I taped off on Sunday, and it took seemingly forever.  With all the cabinets and countertops and whatnot there's just a lot of things to tape around and it took something like 4+ hours when it was all said and done.  At that point, I just

Also, I love ambiance in rooms and it looks like the orange really did a great job in that department. I'm sure it feels refreshing to have a different color in that room.

"builder white" is so blah, so yes...it's definitely nice to have some color in there. It definitely gives the room some personality.

Ahh yellow, the color that inspires violence

It's a soft yellow with a hint of orange. It's called "lazy sun." (BTW, the orange is called "orange cream.") But it's ok if it inspires violence. I look forward to violently attacking my dinner in there soon! :)

Wow! It looks quite nice! At first I thought you painted it the same color of my place! Then I realized you've never been to my new place, but my living room is painted in an Ale color. Literally thats the color, just a little bit more brown in it compared to your lazy sun color.

The color in those pictures is the orange cream. The lazy sun is a lighter color for the breakfast nook, but I haven't done that yet...hopefully tonight!
