In my neverending quest for the holy grail of music, I stumbeled upon the swedish europop group Bodies Without Organs. There's one small part on one song that verges on 50% of musical perfection, but my new nemesis EMI has thwarted my attempt to consume and love this tid-bit of auditory orgasm. I waited ONE WHOLE MONTH for the country of sweden ( Read more... )

I'm downloading it for you right now. Pretty sure it's not corrupt. I'll let you know either way.

IT WORKS! I'm not sure if you have AIM, but I can send the songs to you through that. What song are you looking for in particular? I'll make sure I'm getting the right album. Not sure if they have more than one or not.

Oh, how wonderful! Where do you download music from? I don't have AIM on my computer because I was scurred about never getting any homework done, but I just got onto AIM express, which launches in explorer. Do you think I can exchange files on that? Oh, and please don't listen to any songs by bodies without organs because then you'll think I'm gay or something.

I use Soulseek. I highly recommend it. It's always worked wonders for me. I am quite the master of the download, you see. All illegal like. MMHMM! But we can try through AIM Express. My SN is lastbeatlaugh...so if you're ever on, let me know and we can try it. Or else I can figure out if I can host them online somewhere for you to get. As for BWO themselves...yeah...gay? You? Never! Though I do quite enjoy the music. They're, umm, neat.

I bought a program that 'overrides' copy controls by re-recording/formatting the song. The quality stays the same. It's called tunebite, but if you don't want to buy it (it's $17, but I use it with all my napster songs!), I can certainly copy/reformat the cd into mp3's!

WEEE! Fight the power! I feel like a rebel with a complex network of spies and shit. What is napster like? Do they have a lot of songs on there and is it safe, as in not putting viruses on your computer?

Napster is virus/spyware free, so no worries about that.

They have a lot of 'generic' music, but I find sometimes they don't have the more unique stuff. They have a classical section, though.

I think you can actually search what they have for free. Yes, I'm pretty sure thats true.
