i dislocated my shoulder last night. again. this would be the fourth, no, fifth time now. so texas, florida, and now oregon. every state i've ever lived in. awesome record. the funny thing is each time i take less and less time to recover. shit, the first time i was practically useless for weeks, with liz taking care of me mostly. today i'm going

I remember that. Meeting your mom at the hospital. You being embarassed because she wasn't wearing a belt. Me standing around feeling useless because we'd only just gotten together and I had no idea what to do or say. You rocked that sling though!

i guess i might have, at that. i'd almost forgotten about my mom and her belt-absence embarassingness. and how i tried to (somehow) do everything i would normally be wanting to do at that exact moment and be a quarter mummified with my arm uselessly strapped to waist: sleep, eat, drink beer, play pool, read books, shower, etc.
