Some of you may remember a post I made a few weeks ago. I was completely crushed because the lead singer of my favorite band, Wil, had quit the band to "pursue other things". Well, this morning I checked my email, and I had a Wil Seabrook Newsletter in my inbox. I clicked on it, of course, and before I could even read the first line I was

That's great! Although I think that show is gonna be dumb (really, the original INXS rocked my balls, and I hate reality TV...a lot...especially that stupid "real giligan's island" shit...) it is excellent that Wil is gonna be on it, and OMG what if he did win?!? You would know a really famous person!
By the way, can you imagine winning something like that and then either having to wait til july to find out, or finding out and having to keep it a secret? I would die.
I bet he did win dude, or at least got a big offer from it, like the American Idol runner up always gets. Kick ass.

I don't know if you've read an article about the show or not, but Mr. Seabrook is in the final 15. He and the rest of the finalists are having to relocate to Hollywood Hills where they will live in a house (it sounds kinda like a big-brother thing) and each week will show one finalist's activities around the house, a performance competition, and the results. The open call auditions may have started in November (I read that they started in March...but I think there was stuff in Australia before that...don't know for sure), but Wil probably wouldn't have quit the band until he knew he had a better shot of being the frontman for INXS. If I had to guess -- and since you know him, feel free to correct me -- as to why he finally announced leaving his band is because he's having to move to Hollywood Hills.
