So I've not posted here in a while, sadly. I could blame it on the instant gratification-ness of Twitter and Facebook, but that's not it really? LJ is more, I think, for longer, more detailed posts that go beyond mere character limits, and lately I just felt like I've not had much to say. Nice to see you around these parts again.

I'm curious (because I want one so bad), did you get a manual or automatic transmission for your Fit? It'll likely be a long while before I can think about getting a new car, but I like to know.

Also, congrats on the positive events going on. It's good to see you happy.

Automatic because I dunno how to drive stick, but the Sport variant includes gear-shifting paddles on the wheel which apparently is kinda like a manual without the clutch nonsense. Not used it much, but it's there.

I think that would be more confusing (the gear-shifting paddles). I am seriously missing driving a manual car. Automatics are so boring.

Your therapist sounds great. That information could be used by anyone productively. :)

I eventually joined facebook because I had too many microthoughts. Still use livejournal for the soul wrenching and longer updates. And it also feels nice being vaguely family free so I know I'm not adding to their depression with mine.

My therapist IS great for so many reasons. ;)

And yeah, that is a good reason to use LJ more, even though I usually post stuff that I write here over there too. :)

I'm going to be depressed for a long while. It's just the way it is when your future just suddenly takes an abrupt left turn toward the negative. I have good days. I also have bad ones. Nothing to say why I have one or the other yet as I have good days thinking about Mom.

Very happy to see that you are doing so well!

I'm considering getting a PS3...I'd like to stream my Netflix to my TV. Is the quality of the picture much better than on a screen?

I use the PS3 to stream Netflix to my TV, and it's wonderful. A lot of programs are also in HD, so if your connection is fast enough you'll get certain things in HD as well. Totally love it.
