Sigh, today was a really weird day. T'was my last day at work after being told I was going to be laid off two weeks ago, so I was feeling really emotional. In the midst of that had to go to an interview (which I'm not sure about, since one of the two interviewers had "concerns" about my abilities which are fairly focused). It wasn't easy going to

By the way, it's fantastic you've gotten so many interviews already. Clearly, you have wanted skills. You are so far ahead right now, you have no idea.

Oh, Brian, I had no idea you had lost your job and were in all this turmoil! Thank God you have such a sound support system! It IS very tough to find a job where you like everyone, and I'm glad you had it. You're such a sweetheart of a guy, perhaps it's YOU, not the people, and you will easily find it again.

Seriously, though, what kind of company lets a guy go this close to Christmas? A lump of coal in their stocking, damn them!
