Awww, so very sweet. I love the thought that Brian knows his Sunshine's smiles so well. This part was sad, but beautiful:
The sad smile, the one he uses when he's upset with his family and tries to pretend that he's not. The one that makes my chest hurt looking at it.

Darling Brian, typical that he wouldn't feel he deserves to be smiled at like that... loved like that, by someone so wonderful, but his Sunshine knows, and we know, that he deserves so much more than he's been taught to trust he deserves.
